Banned Books Reading

Come celebrate the freedom to read at the Banned Books Reading on Tuesday, Sept. 26 at 7pm in the Briggs Library McGinnis Room.
Every year thousands of books get challenged across the country. Some of them get banned. Take a stand. Come support efforts to keep books available by listening to excerpts from banned and challenged books or reading from one yourself. To become a reader please contact Andrew Aarg (aaber026) or Sarah Freske (fresk005).
Following the reading there will be a brief discussion on censorship.
The event is sponsored by Sigma Tau Delta and Briggs Library. Everyone is welcome. Refreshments will be served.
