Lavender Celebration 2026 💜

Students, faculty, and staff are invited to join us for the annual Lavender Celebration—a heartfelt and affirming reception and ceremony honoring the achievements, leadership, and resilience of our LGBTQIA2S+ students and allies at the University of Minnesota Morris.

This special event recognizes our graduating students as they prepare to cross the stage, celebrating their journeys, identities, and contributions to our campus community. Graduates who participate will be individually recognized and receive a lavender cord to wear at commencement.

The celebration will also highlight members of our community through the presentation of three awards:

💜 Lavender Employee Award
