Faculty Recital - Ann DuHamel, Piano

Head of Keyboard Studies Ann DuHamel kicks off a 2019 tour of solo piano music exploring transformations and the music of Johannes Brahms.  Her UMN Morris faculty recital features music of Lowell Liebermann as well as Marc Chan (commissioned with UMN Morris Faculty Research Enhancement funds).  Luke Dahn, Joseph Dangerfield, and Edie Hill (commissioned with an Imagine Fund Award).  The monumental Handel Variations by Brahms, presented to Clara Schumann as a birthday gift, closes the program in celebration of the 200th anniversary of her birth.
