Faculty/Staff Workshop: Recognizing and Contextualizing Morris Campus History and the Ways it Connects to Our Present and Future
The workshop will provide information on:

the founding of the campus as an American Indian Boarding School and its connections to today and tomorrow.

UMM’s unique place in higher education as just one of 24 universities recognized by the US Department of Education as Native American Serving Non-Tribal Institutions.

Morris Native American student demographics.
-
some of the programs and resources available to deepen our understanding of contemporary Native issues on campus and in Minnesota.
A light lunch of soup, sandwiches, and mini apple pies will be provided.
Please RSVP if possible. Walk-ins are also very welcome.
