First-Gen Week is a national event that celebrates and supports students who are the first in their families to attend college. The week promotes awareness of the unique challenges faced by first-gen students and encourages engagement and support within colleges and universities. First-Gen Week is celebrated alongside National First-Generation College Celebration Day on November 8.
