Auditions for Lilly's Purple Plastic Purse will be held Monday, Jan 26, 2026 at  6:30 pm and Tuesday, Jan 27, 2026 at  6:30 p.m., with callbacks Thursday, Jan 29 at 6:30 pm. (if called back you must attend to be cast)

You will find the script available in the Briggs Library under reserve to read ahead of time. Make sure you know ALL nightly schedule conflicts from Feb 2-April 22, 2026, including choir, dance ensemble, improv, sports, evening classes and events you must attend for classes. Casting will be partly based on availability. We will present the show to area school children during the day for one week. 

Prepaire a very very short scene from the script or just come ready to read what we give you. Wear comfortable clothes you can move in and hair out of your face.

The story:  Lilly loves everything, especially her purple plastic purse full of treasures. She even loves her teacher Mr. Slinger—but when the wondrous purse and its contents keep interrupting his lessons, he confiscates it, leading Lilly to attempt revenge. Luckily, her favorite teacher understands her emotions.
