About this Event
600 East 4th Street, Morris, MN 56267
The Division of Humanities teams up with the Division of Math and Science to present a reading of Act One of Copenhagen, a Tony-award winning play that examines a meeting between physicists Niels Bohr and Werner Heisenberg in 1941. Though they revolutionized atomic science in the 1920s, they now find themselves on opposite sides of a world war. Featuring Professor Ray Schultz, Visiting Assistant Professor of Theatre Lana Sugarman, and UMM Theatre alum Brennan Bassett, the reading will be followed by a discussion.
Moderators:
Dan Demetriou, Associate Professor of Philosophy
Peter Dolan, Associate Professor of Computer Science and Statistics
Paul Myers, Associate Professor of Biology.
This event is free and open to the public.
