Professor Peter Dolan lecture, "The Devil's in the Data: Analysis in the Age of AI"
Professor Peter Dolan delivers the fourth lecture in the Honors Lecture Series, Montaigne Made Me Do It: On Pattern & Variation. Professor Dolan's lecture is entitled "The Devil's in the Data: Analysis in the Age of AI." The lecture is open to the public and will be followed by a Q&A and reception.
Dr. Dolan earned his doctorate in mathematics at the University of Oregon. He has a bachelor of science in mathematics and another one in computer science from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks. He minored in foreign languages. He worked in bioinformatics as a postdoc and consultant for several years. In another life he worked in canneries and as a deck-hand on a fishing boat in Alaska where he grew up. Today his focus is on data science.
