Purpose of the event: 

• To relieve any anxiety that built up during the last administration regarding rights and opportunities related to these populations of individuals
• To educate various members of campus on what may look different or what might be the same under the Biden administration 

Topics that will be covered: 

• DACA (Dreamers)/ undocumented individuals 
• Migrant families separated and detained south of our border
• Policies around international students (OPT, STEM, H1B) 
• What should international students avoid OR pursue when it comes to having a better chance of pursuing a Green Card? 
• What should international students or undocumented individuals do if they are approached by an ICE agent or airport official. What are their rights?
