Guest Speaker: Marissa Hill-Dongre, J.D. an immigration attorney and Director of the Immigration Response Team at the University of Minnesota

Purpose of the event:
- To relieve any anxiety that built up during the last administration regarding rights and opportunities related to these populations of individuals
- To educate various members of campus on what may look different or what might be the same under the Biden administration
Topics that will be covered:
- DACA (Dreamers)/ undocumented individuals
- Migrant families separated and detained south of our border
- Policies around international students (OPT, STEM, H1B)
- What should international students avoid OR pursue when it comes to having a better chance of pursuing a Green Card?
- What should international students or undocumented individuals do if they are approached by an ICE agent or airport official. What are their rights?
