Well the Office of Community Engagement has got a volunteer opportunity for you!

On October 3rd, the Office of Community Engagement will be heading out to help the US Fish and Wildlife Office, located just outside of Morris past the Pomme de Terre campground, to help collect seeds for their efforts in restoring the prairie. The seed collect will take place at a remote site that will be determined just prior to the event. This is a full day of volunteering from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm.

Personal transportation is preferred, limited UMM transportation will be available. A little lunch will be provided. Masks and social distancing will be observed.

If you decide you want to attend please fill out the google form that is linked below and wear appropriate clothing and shoes for walking in the tall grass such as long pants and closed toed shoes.
