Mark your calendars for the University of Minnesota’s first virtual Support the U Day event on March 4, 2021.

Support the U Day is an opportunity for students, faculty, staff, alumni, and others around Minnesota to engage with their elected state officials and advance the University’s state legislative request. Although we can’t be together this year under the state capitol dome, we still can make our voices heard.

On March 4, we'll take part in daylong effort to raise awareness of the UMN’s biennial budget and capital requests. We’ll share our UMN stories with legislators, engage on social media, and show state leaders why the University of Minnesota remains one of Minnesota’s most important institutions.

Here in Morris, we’ll write postcards and emails to legislators, engage on social media, and share our UMN stories to show state leaders why our University remains one of our state’s most important institutions. Stop by the Student Center on Thursday, March 4, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to take action and to enter for your chance to win a UMN Morris prize pack—remember to wear maroon and gold!
