Become a volunteer community translator or interpreter!
Tercero Program: Training Community Volunteers in Spanish Language Translation and Interpreting
Mission: To train volunteers to serve as community translators and interpreters for Spanish-speaking people in the Morris area community; to foster communication and understanding among local families, schools, essential services, and other local partners.
In order to serve as a volunteer and to demonstrate documented competence as a community translator & interpreter, prospective volunteers must complete a series of three workshops (in any order). Workshops are hosted on a regular basis. Free supervised play for children during workshops.

Fall 2017 Trainings in the Morris Public Library Community Room:
Saturday, Sept. 16th 10:30am-5:00pm: program overview and best practices
Wednesday, Sept. 20th 5:30-8:00: interpretation training
Wednesday, Sept. 27th 5:30-8:00: translation training
